Mike,
Our "short" 6-7 months of winter period here gave me just enough time to build a pair of your wheel chocks ... 
I tried them out on each of our expeditions up till now this season and they also worked well on our FW.
Just wanted - as others - to thank you for sharing that great idea.

Mike - We tried out your wheel chocks this past weekend. The wife and I can't believe the difference these made! Thanks much for the plans. So far, these are at the top of the list of improvements to the TT. Thanks again Mike!

Made a set yesterday. Worked great. I had the 2 x 4 already. I think the total cost was $8.20 for the nuts, washers and all-thread. I just cut a 36" piece of all thread in half. Defintely made a difference in the front to back movement.

I get no front-to-back or side-to-side movement at all. The DW tells me that when I walk onto the steps getting in & out of the TT, she does feel a slight bit of bounce. I'm trying to figure out some sort of stabilizer to place between the axles to help eliminate that.

Nice job. Great info.
We had BAL chocks for our previous trailer but they wouldn't fit the very close alignment between the wheels of our new 2603. I immediately contacted Rotochok and got a set for each side. These systems are definitely the best way to go for locking up and stabilizing a tandem wheel trailer.
I knew about the do-it-yourself version before, but wasn't quite prepared to engineer them for myself (getting old, I guess) but if I had had your PLANS a couple of months ago, I would have had a crack at it.
For everyone out there .... if you're handy at all, make yourself a couple of these ... you won't regret it. If you're not handy, then get yourself BAL or Rotochoks. Rotochocks are a bit cheaper and so far, for me, they work extremely well.
