I find that I am being logged out at times(not during sessions) but upon return after being gone. I haven't noticed a specific length of time of not being here, and I do have checked the remember me box. Is this for security reasons??

Also, when I visit active topics, read one post then go back to read another it indicates there are no more active posts when in fact there may have been several. Unless I print that page and refer to it I can't get back to current active posts. What's up with that????

Thanks for letting me gripe.........

Mike, I tried your suggestion and it is great. Sorry, I didn't know about the active topics page. That helps out a lot. Thank you very much!!

Thanks, I will give that a try.

When you go to the Active Topics page, you can select the "Active Topics Since".

Also, on the right side of the Active Topics page, you can select "Don't Reload Automatically" in the selection box.

I really hate to be a complainer, but everytime I log on to read the new posts, all of the unread posts are still changing from pink back to yellow after reading only a few posts, sometimes more, sometimes less. There doesn't seem to be a specific period of time or pattern to it. Is there anything else that can be tried to fix this problem. Having the new posts indicator is really a convenient way to catch up. Also, please let me know if I am doing something wrong.

Thank you!!!

Hi,
Sorry, but for me, it seemed a bit worse. When I entered this forum for the first time, all the posts were pink, and when I backed out to the "all forums" level, the folders that were pink (before I entered this forum) turned to yellow and the only thing I read was your post above. So, I had to look for new posts by the date again. Weird!!

I've changed the "Active User" timeout. We'll see if that clears things up.

Sorry,

I also have the same problem. When this happens to me, I notice when I am reading a post and then hit the back button, all of the posts within a forum will change to pink. Then when I back out to the "all forums" level, any of the forums that were pink due to unread posts, have turned to yellow. I then have to look for posts by date to find the ones I haven't read yet. A bit troublesome because it is easy to miss new posts.

I have the same problems regularly.
Unread posts change from pink to yellow after a few posts or views.

Sorry for the problems, Paul.

I haven't noticed this, but I'll look into it.
