Just a word of caution for anyone with the freestanding table option in the rockwood models. While camping for the first time with the 8285ws unit, we found the table just slightly wobble. So with just one turn of a phillips screwdriver,(ONE TURN !)its ok.... close the slide up for the trip home, all good. Go to open the slide at home and two rips in the the flooring! now back to the dealer for repairs. The screw is 3 1/2 inches long.Just a bit of warning for those that might have this situation come up.

Other than this issue , it is everything that we had hoped for in the fiver.

Hi Dave (Ready2rock) !
We had the exact same situation (wobbling table) in our brand new 2008 8280WS unit last summer, so I tightenend the 4 screws (and more than just one turn !) without knowing ...
Up till now, no rips on the floor in the kitchen area !
Am I lucky or the screws are shorter ?
Were the end points of your screws visible from under the slide ?
(I'll check mine right away this afternoon !)

Thanks for sharing !

update to the first message about the screws in the slide floor. we removed the deck screws one at a time and installed what is refered to as a bolt and "tee nuts (looks like a washer with fangs). the bolt will align the tee nut in position from underneath and tap it in. then just thread the bolt in snug, measure and cut the bolt at the flush point with the underbelly. now the table is much more stable and solid. i do not know if the deck screws were too long or the the table legs were countersunk too much, or maybe the slide shifted! anyway just a caution for those with free-standing tables
