If you put 13" wheels and tire, you may have clearance issues in the wheel wells, I read somewhere that tires could rub in the plastic fenders and eventually make holes in those fenders. You need to measure the circumference of the 13" and compare to the 12" and check how big a difference you have ( I mean wheel with tire mounted) and then check how much room you have in the wheel well. I would guess it will be a bit tight.

Hi David, welcome to the forums. As Alain said in his reply you need to do some measuring to see if you have adequate clearance to accomodate the 13", we had a Rockwood 1910 for many years and I had the same thoughts about going up to 13" but there wasn't enough clearance. I upgraded my 12" to a good 8 ply radial tire from Carlisle and put many trouble free miles on back and forth to Canada's east coast, the main thing is to keep your wheel bearings maintained on a regular basis, keep your air pressure at the recommended psi (I always run nitrogen in all of my tires as they run cooler with less pressure fluctuation) and keep an eye on your springs for cracks. We had the misfortune of breaking a spring just outside of St. Anthony Newfoundland and it took 2 days to get replacement springs which I upgraded to a set of 4 leaf springs which gave me a bit more clearance but still not enough to go to 13" wheels.
