I have an 07 831 BHSS that I purchased in 6-06 and already blew 2 tires, and found one about to blow! Has any one had problems with tires? I did weight the RV on a truck scale and all is ok. Other then the tires, Wife and I love our unit! We do have some of the Border Paper peeling off the walls, which I think I could fix with any advisee? Could use more out side space, but more to load & unloaded!

Are you putting enough air in the tires? That will cause a blowout.

I have had issues with the tires on my 07 8298SS fortunately I caught it before the blowouts. I am very paranoid about tires after reading all the problems people have and always checked pressure and the look of the tire. I discussed with the local tire dealer and his opinion was that the st205/75R15 LRC were marginal at best. His opinion was that they did not have enough capacity for the trailer. Carlisle paid for the defective tires that I had and then I upgraded to ST205/75R15 LRD as recommended by my dealer. I did some research on my truck as well and found that the truck has about 2000lbs margin on the tires to the GVWR and my small car has 900 lbs margin to the GVWR. Trailer had 520 lbs negative margin if you didn't take off the tongue wieght and only about 280lbs margin if you did. I now have almost 1000 lbs margin on the trailer tires.

I feel much better now but only time will tell if these will be better.
