Hello everbody, I have been poking around this forun for a couple of weeks and was curious if anybody here had the same 5er as we do. Ours is a 30' Flagstaff model 8528BHSS. WE have had ours since 2006 and we love it. It tows great and we have had only a couple of minor things wrong but they were taken care of under warranty. Also curious how many of you 5er owners have hit your head on the pin. I hit it at the beach on the morning we were coming back and put a nasty gash in the top of my head and had a nice headache all the way home.

Hello Terry,
Welcome to the forums. Glad to hear you like your fiver. Sorry to hear about your mishap with the fifth wheel pin.
Next time you're at Wal-Mart, look in the RV section and pick up a sewer donut. Or, you can pick one up at most RV park camp stores. Slip it over the pin when unhitched. It won't hurt so bad next time you contact it.

Hey Viper, I got a 5th wheel stablizer for mine more to keep the kids from running in to pin than to stablize.
I have the sister 5er we love it too I have a small leak @ the rear bed room window.
