I checked out the CARS program and my suburban qualifies.... as long as I want to purchase a smaller vehicle that can not pull my trailer. Guess if you pull a trailer Uncle Sam will get more money out of ya for the gas guzzler tax.

The catch is their is no trade in value. All you get is the credit toward the purchase. What does the dealer do with the trade in???

The trade ins, gas guzzlers, are supposed to be scrapped to get them off the road to save energy. I wonder if this will happen. This is just another bailout to help the auto industry..
