We purchased this unit new in June of this year 2009 as a left over.
The deadbolt would not lock i changed the door handle assy.
Next the black water flush would pour water on floor in front of steps to bedroom when used,had to take apart &reassemble due to fitting that was not tighened at factory.
Concertone full of static
Can not remove screens in slide area
Both hot water faucets make loud squeaking noise when used (Cheap Plastic)This unit has been parked as a seasonal since purchase i wonder what will go wrong when i tow it.Would not buy another Forest River product

 Sorry to hear of your troubles, but IMHO, you'll find just as many problems, if not more, with brands other than FR.

Over the years I have owned four popups and three travel trailers that were made by Coleman, Sun Valley, Airstream, Fleetwood, Venture and Forest River. Like Mike sez, they will all have their problems, regardless of the make. Plastic water faucets are the norm for most trailers these days and all of mine had them except the Airstream which had brass ones. Your squeaking faucets can be changed to metal ones with out much trouble. They are standard household size and some very good ones can be found at Lowe's and Home Depot for under $30.00.
