Hello.... we have a bit of a decision to make and could use a little help. We are in the process of factory ordering a model 8315BSS and trying to decide on whether to go with the standard carpet arrangement or to go with the "minimum carpet" option in the Living Room/kitchen area. What we would specifically like to know is: Exactly how far out from the slide-side trailer wall does the "minimum carpet" extend ?? For example, does it extend as far as the bathroom door opening, past it, or not that far ? If possible, a photo or diagram would be greatly appreciated.

We spend a significant portion of our "camping time" dry camping (no ac power) and keeping a carpeted floor clean of pine needles and other such debris is a concern.

Thanks in advance
VTX-AL & Sharleen

I would definitely order with minimum carpet. Standard carpet is just too much for a main traffic area and camping. That's what we have and we are glad that we ordered it that way. Carpet extends out from slide to about 1" just before door opening to bathroom.

We have the "minimum carpet" option on our 2607. There is only carpet in the bedroom. The rest is linolium. Easier to sweep and mop as necessary. I did install a built-in vacuum system system (Dirt Devel) under the dinette bench seat, and that helps keep both the carpeted area and the linolium areas clean.
