I just bought a 2006 Flagstaff 208 pop-up with a 10' box. I was checking out the wiring and when I removed the converter, I found an automotive type fuse BEHIND it in the wall! Is anyone aware of the purpose of this fuse? I thought it might be smart to put a note in the converter as to its purpose so that if it ever blows, I will remember that it is there. What a terrific design!
Interesting. Is it actually part of the converter or placed in-line to the power source to the converter? You didn't mention the converter manufacture. Assuming you have the WFCO (probably the WF-8712/25P) I don't see anything in the spec's that indicate that another fuse is behind the converter. Also assuming that the 2006 is not a first owner unit, maybe the previous owner decided to add a fuse behind the converter to protect the convert itself.
