Interstate 40 is closed in North Carolina near the Tennessee border due to a major rock slide that occurred over the weekend. The highway will likely be closed several months. Here are links to the NCDOT website, and to a local TV station for more information.

Yea I know. Supposed to go to IN from NC this weekend to get my TT and was going to come back that way. Looks like an extra 50 miles with the detour. Still better than all the tolls around the north east. Oh well getting a new TT and catching a Bears game. Not the end of the world.
