Got this tip from R-vision site and it does cut noise of pump immensely. On outlet of water pump add 15' coil of 1/2" ID braided vinyl 200# rated hose. Connect back into rigid piping with male union and barbed end connecter. Total cost approx $20.00
Peace of mind ..priceless.
