Heading south for november going to Alabama and will leave my unit in Alabama outside and gated for four months. What would you take out before leaving I was looking at taking out all items plus batteries, and propane tanks. Does anyone have any comments on this good or bad. Would you leave the batteries and tanks.

I would leave the propane tanks. Since you are going to Alabama, you shouldn't have to worry about extreme cold, so I would also leave the battery, but I would disconnect it so that it isn't drawn down from the CO2 sensor (and other things). I would make sure you take all food items out of the trailer also.

Hi djahs,
I am not sure how far you want to travel once you get into Michigan, but here is a place that I have stayed before, and they are open all year, and usually not full during the off season although many people camp for Halloween.
Harbortown RV Resort 14999 Laplaisance Rd Monroe, MI 48161 (734) 384-4700
It is at the south end of Michigan. It is a bit like what I call, "parking lot camping" because the spaces are close together and there isn't much for wilderness there, but the place is clean and pretty new. The have a really nice pool, if you were going during the summer.
If you would like, I can help you find something else closer to Sarnia if Monroe is too far. Just email me.
