Well folks, took the Rockwood HW276 out and I gotta tell you I am quite dismayed on some of the quality issues. The door as I wrote before is kinda weird but the fabric issue is a pain. Every time I put it up or put it down I have to retuck the bottom of the tenting fabric on the Right Rear corner back into channel every time I put it up or down. What is supposed to hold it in the channel?
Couple of positive things is this thing has more counter space, floor space and a much larger dinette table than most 26 foot travel trailers. I went camping with some freinds and they had next to nill floor space and 0 counter space. They had the coffee maker and toaster eating up most of the dinette table and you had to sit down when someone wanted to get by you in the kitchen.
Tows like a dream, looks great on the road and I got 15 MPG on my Silverado 5.3 towing it 210 highway miles on flat ground.
But the person who was supposed to check the quality was way off that day, I spent one of my vacation days cleaning up the wiring, plumbing and plugging holes left from the same.
From a 1 to a 10 I give it a 7.5.

We were similarly not real impressed with our Rockwood 1907 pop-up. It was horrible but it was always something. . . .

We had a Rockwood 1910 for many years and we were very pleased with the trailer. The only real problem we had was with the original cheapy tires that I replaced after two trips, they simply would not hold air. As far as the vinyl coming out of the track we had the same problem but after getting it all back into the track I put a couple of small machine screws through the vinyl and into the track and no more problems.

Had a typo. I meant to say it WASN'T horrible; just a steady trickle of little things; relatively easy to fix.

I had the same problem with the vinyl in the track by the door. Our fill hose was leaking at the water tank because the clamp was only on halfway. Got to the camp site on our first trip and everything on the floor was soaked. And the thermostat for the furnace was stuck and wouldn't turn on until I took it apart and bent the contact tabs the right way.
