I was wondering if anyone would know how I could obtain an owner's manual for a 2001 Rockwood T829BHS Ultra Lite TT. I purchased the TT used, over a year ago. The manual that was inside the unit when I purchased it, is not the right one. I've tried the internet in attempts to locate one but have been unsuccessful. My only other option is contacting the manufacture. Hopfully, I can locate one before having to go that route.

Any help would be appreciated

The Forest River owners manual is a generic one that covers everything from pop ups to motor homes and is as close to worthless as you can get. I would not go to the trouble to find one. Instead try to find a good all around RV manual in a local bookstore or Camping World which would cover the major components of your trailer anyway.

You can try contacting FR direct, but as Hokie hass says, the FT TT manual is completely useless. Far too generic. Although the manual for my Flagstaff popup was quite good.
Jayco TT manuals are excellent.

FR manual is far too generic as they try to cover most lines of trailers. Best reference is the manufacturer info for the individual bits.

You can also try contacting FR. Try Ron Kilmer [rkilmer@forestriverinc.com] as he recently sent me some info. You may have to get after him a bit but he should follow thru in the end. Funny how you cannot find any phone numbers for FR.

Anything specific any of us can help you with?

Best to start a new thread for questions so you get maximum exposure.

I needed the owners manual as well, when I purchased a 2002 Rockwood Ultra Lite. I called Forest River in the U.S. and the woman charged me $15 plus postage for a generic manual and specs for all appliances. Better than useless, but I really would like to have a spec on the frame for support purposes.

But if I were you I would go to dealer and see if they have a generic manual and appliance specs first.

Trailblazer,
Forest River has by far, the most useless manual that I have ever seen. You can get most info on the appliances via the internet.
I'd try Ron Kilmer per my previous post. He has provided me one in the past. But again, it was a generic manual covering all FR trailers.

If it is the frame you want, find out your manufacturer and go to their website. $15 is not too bad a deal for all materials.
