Welcome aboard! Is yours a 2706SS or a 2607SS? I didn't see the 2706SS on the Rockwood website. We have a 2009 2607 that we are very happy with.

Ours had a couple of minor problems:
The "buttons" on the bench seat top have been falling off. (Dealer got us 10 replacements from Rockwood).
Had a leak in the shower glass seal that needed silicone. (We LOVE the size of the shower and the HUGE bathroom!)
Underside needed sealing - ours had lots of unsealed potential rodent / insect openings.
Slide-out lower seal needed new adhesive. It kept falling off.

We've made a BUNCH of modifications:
Storage box on back bumper for sewer hoses and connections.
Storage shelves and "drawers" (plastic trays) in the buried ends of the slide outside storage.
Pegboard on inside of nose wall in outside storage for hanging axe, small tools, awning hook, hatchet, etc.
Unscrewed and then added hinge to under-bed storage area. Removed drawers and put the drawer faces on hinges for added storage.
Modified "dummy" cabinet door on the left side of the oven and converted it by adding hinges, knob, and catch. Now have a three-bottle wine rack inside compartment.
Removed closet rod in bathroom closet and one bedroom closet. Replaced with wire shelves.
Installed built-in vacuum cleaner in bench seat (behind drawer).
Removed battery box, added 12" aluminum truck bed storage box (Lowes) on nose, added venting to box, and installed dual 6-volt golf cart batteries inside. Still has lots of added storage room in box.
Added awning bows (tonight's project!).
Removed huge built-in XM Radio dock. Replaced with erasable board and Serius radio mount.
Mounted DVD and 20" flat screen on bedroom wall.
Installed Tornado Flush on black-tank.
Installed thumb catches on pass-through storage doors, so that they can be closed securely without a key.
Installed weather-alert radio.
Replaced fold-down tin stove cover with a wood counter / cutting board.
Installed matching plate-rail on entertainment center shelves to keep things in place during transit.
Made "floor-tray" for behind sofa. This allows us to store folding table and bag chairs used outside behind sofa without getting dirt of moisture on carpet.
Told dealer NOT to install the flimsy towel rods supplied by Rockwood. We installed better quality ones, where WE wanted them.
Modified and mounted a nylon net-type tailgate net along lower back wall of bath as a shoe, sandle, slipper holder.
Installed two hanging bars in outside access under-bed storage (over water tank)to slip flagpoles, broom, and other light, long items over.
Added Pressure Pro Tire Monitoring System to TT and to tow vehicle.
Installed Maxx-Air Vent Covers.

Can't think of any others off the top of my head, but I'm sure there were other ideas.......

Best of luck with yours, and I hope that my list of mods gives you some ideas of just how creative you can get with one of these units!

I may be handy with the ideas and the mods, and I can take some digital pics, but I've never gotten past the technological obstacle of how to post them.... Any suggestions / instructions?
