My wife and I, just this evening, placed an order for a new Rockwood Ultra Lite 2604SS travel trailer as a replacement for our old trusty 1994 Sunline T-2370 travel trailer. We sadly sold her last week. With seven grandkids we just outgrew our aptly named "Doghouse". Named such for a few reasons. One because when I personally transgressed I was in the "Doghouse" and mostly because we always had our furry kids (dogs) Mariah (Bless her memory, we lost her last month) and Shadow her sidekick along for our journeys. It was hard to see our old trailer behind someone else's truck being towed down the road not to be seen again. But enough melancholy! Now the excitement of awaiting the new arrival. We ordered our trailer from RV Wholesalers. They say a 4 to 6 week lead time before we see delivery. That should be about the perfect time of year here for Camping, We enjoy the weather here in Central Florida the most during the months of October and November, as well as in April and May. We can plan a shakedown camping excursion to one of our favorite local places called Bulow Campground and hopefully figure out how all the new trailer features work. My wife is so excited about the ability of being able to have more interior room and floorspace with a "Slideout", Super sized no less. I'm also happy to have found this Brand Specific Web Community within which we would like to share our adventures, as well to hopefully garner some help specific to our new trailer. If there is anyone out there who has any hints with respect to this model we would sure appreciate any advice, hints, cautions, etc.. I understand that Flagstaff, another Forest River Brand, offers the exact same floorplan in their 26RLSS!? So please welcome us to your community and help us enjoy our new and larger "Doghouse".

I understand that Forest River makes Rockwood and Flagstaff brand trailers on the same assembly line like Chevy and GMC. The only differences are model numbers and decals. Lou

Welcome to the forum. I do own the Flagstaff version 26RLSS and purchased last October. I have a posting in the owners review as well as the Travel Trailer Section titles Flagstaff 26RLSS. I did have some repairs and a design flaw with the furnace exhaust. They may have changed the location in the 2010 model, but beware if they didn't. (refer to postings). After everything was fixed I have been very pleased with this unit. I had to recently have some repairs on interior damage(my living room T.V Mount and cupboard door under TV)The slide out caught both of these when I was sliding out. There is not a lot of clearance between the entertainment center and slide out. Something I have to check everytime, especially after traveling and sliding out.
Enjoy your unit.
