Can anyone help me decide whether to buy this? We will be putting our new camper up for about 5 months in the driveway and we get "some" snow storms and several Ice Storms every year. We "hope" to be in FLA for the worst of it but who knows.

1) Are they worth the cost?
A) I heard they chaff the roof in windy conditions and cause wear not covered by warranty.
B) Heard they trap moisture and cause rot/mold problems

2) Will an AC cover suffice? We have vent covers installed and plan on leaving them open.

The dealer most likely will recommend we buy them cause they cost a lot and I am not sure he will have my best interest at heart <smile>
