Groping around in the dark for a flashlight and Fire extinguisher to escape a camper with a problem worried me. We were always looking for where we last saw the flashlights when we needed it and the extinguisher is mounted low at the door.

If we are that close to the door, and the camper is burning, we are running, I think...

Getting OUT might be an issue, so I mounted both on the wardrobe slide. If I had to do it over again I would reverse them and put the extinguisher lower. That way we could crawl out rather than quickly stand to get at the extinguisher. I most likely will move it.

The Flashlight mount is a 1 and a half inch PVC Pipe union with an angled hole drilled in to recieve the mounting screw. I plan to paint that brown.
