We have a 2008 Rockwood 8314SS in which the floor has started to become soft. So far it is only along the path of the heating ducts. My first thought was a leak but we were unable to find any sign of water intrusion. Of course this begin after the warranty was expired. I have thought of covering the floor with tongue and grove wood flooring 3/8 inch thick to eliminate the soft spots. My concern is when the trailer is fully loaded, including some fresh water, for our extended summer trip we are at 6960 pounds and I am afraid that the added weight will be too much for the axels. Second will the slide work properly with the added flooring? Do any of you have any suggestions other than selling the TT before it gets too bad?
