Newfie, They do have cabins and park models We can reserve 1 cabin 60 days before event and get a 2nd unit 1 week before event. 60 days would be March 18. We can only get those 2 units first come first serve.

| I was seriously considering attending, but I have already made plans for a trip the very next weekend. I think two trips back to back would be a bit much for our household. Please keep me informed if the dates move. Thank you for taking the time to set something like this up. |

Mrs. C and I would have loved to attend the 1st annual get together but unfortunately we already have reservations made at Campers Cove in Wheatley Ontario with my son and his family (another Rockwood owner) That paticular weekend is our 3 day Victoria Day weekend here in Canada, traditionally the beginning of camping season and if you don't have a site booked already odds are you will really be searching to find a spot. I was online the other night checking the provincial park online registration web site and some of the parks are pretty much booked up already. I sure hope that all those that are able to attend the rally take lots of pictures to share with the rest of us. Any thoughts about some type commemerative items ?
cudos to the organizers
Norm
I ran a mapquest check and it is only a 280 mile drive for us, too bad we have previous plans, any thoughts on a fall rally ? |

George & Lynn
I was trying to get a good idea of # attending be Apr. 15 but that is very flexable as long as we are not close to the 15 sites which being the 1st time for this I do not think that will be a probiem.

I think this is a great idea, I have not seen much mention about bringing children. Is the park child friendly (we won't be swimming), and are others bringing their kids? 300 miles from our doorstep, it sounds very interesting. I appreciate the effort it takes to do something like this. At this point we would probably be attending. Thanks, Patric and Roxane |

Woody Thank you for taking the time and effort to set this rally in motion. We know what it takes to start from scratch, but we also know how rewarding it is to be able to give people a chance to enjoy new friendships. We will be coming up I 71 from Cincinnati for about 325 miles to meet all of you (Yall). Let us know what we can help with. |

Woody I went to the Web page for the rally CG, looks great for our first rally. Do we have the use of a room or covered area for wet weather? By the way what type weather can we expect in May?
We need to keep this in active topic! Steve |

| Steve thanks for the invite to the rally. I don't think we are going to be able to make it but it sounds like a lot of fun. I am running low on vacation time this year. I want to thank you for taking the effort to arrange this and keep us in mind if you do it again! Just starting out camoing but rallies to actually see people talking to online sounds like a lot of fun. |

Hey Woody I'm seeing the number of people reading this message is going up but not many have responed. This surprises me in a way. We look for any reason to use our TT and what better reason to go camping with people that have similar interest. We head to Alabama Saturday 3/15 for a week and we can not wait. It would be nice to know what people are thinking about the rally. Speaking for Jeannie and I we are looking forward to seeing the area and meeting all of you. We don't travel north much so this gave us a great excuse to see new country. Steve |

| I'm going to be an official Flagstaff owner the following weekend. Mine is due to deliver around the 25th of may. This sounds like a great dea. Hope it works out good and it will become an annual event. I looked at the website and that looks like an awesome resort to stay at. |

Gee .... it would really be fun to be there.
From Ottawa, it's over 700KMs -- about an 8 hour drive and that's kind of pushing it for a two or three day stay. We're also booked for a trip the following weekend.
I hope you get great attendance. If anything is planned for next year and the preliminary plans are available in late fall (Nov - Dec) I'd certainly consider an Itinerary for a weeks easy travel to include the Rally.
Best Regards,
John |

Hi Woody:
Out cross country trip from NY to CA and back to NY is going fine. At the moment we are in Sulphur La about 215 miles from New Orleans.. This is campsite 8 and we have about 25 more before we get home.
I see the Rally response seems to be alot of peoplea having other plans or find it's to far for them to travel.
Have you considered sending the Rally notication to the RV dealers that sell the Rockwood and Flagstaf RVs?

Please add us to the list for arrival on Friday, May 16, and departure on Sunday, May 18. We look forward to meeting everybody, and certainly need practice at this new travel trailer activity, having made only one trip away from our seasonal campsite in the year we have had our Rockwood. Thanks to Neil Dunn for prompting me out of my lethargy.

I'm with Erik. The Smoky Mountains would be great. We'd love to come to the rally, but Ohio is just too far from Louisiana.
Thanks Steve for all that you have done in organizing this. I know it's not easy and you're not going to please everyone. I hope y'all have a great time and can't wait to read the post after it's all done. |

| Hi. The main reason we couldn't make this rally was due to its proximity to Memorial Day weekend. We have a 350 mile trip planned for Memorial Day weekend, and being the weekend before, the rally was too much for equal distance trips two weekends in a row. I would love to attend the next rally, so if I may make a suggestion for you to discuss regarding next year's rally, please choose a weekend that is either over the holidy, or puts a little more distance between the rally and the holiday weekend, so plans do not interfere. Maybe those who attend the rally can chime in during the discussions, and those who cannot attend the rally this year can chime in with suggestions that would be better. Thanks for listening, or reading. |

With most camp grounds they want you to keep Rallies before Mem. day or after Labor day. I was tring to get the best weather we could that is why I picked that date. This will be my 1st rally so I am learning too. I hope to give a year notice for next years rally Where ever in will be held. I want to get input at this years rally for next year.

Steve,
Hope everything goes well at the Rally and everyone has a good time.
DW and I looked into taking a flight out to Cleavland and renting a cottage there to join in, but unfortunately the plant is scheduling their unit shut-down early. We'll be working 6-7 week straight through.
Hoping to attend the next one.

| I wonder why I am not finding this campground in a directory. Is it under a different name? Is it on the shore of the lake? You may have already given the answer, and I missed it or have forgotten. Good directions and address. We'll see everybody there. |

Hope everyone has a super time at the rally, take lots of pictures to share with the rest of us, the weather on our side of the pond looks like a real mixed bag for the long weekend. Happy Camping.

Rally was a blast, We had a great time. Now we need some Ideas for the 2009 rally. We talked at the rally about the Pigeon Forge area. If any one has any Ideas let us know.

It was great fun meeting those who post, seeing the modifications people have made to their units, and spending time getting to know individuals and couples. Thanks to Woody and Nicole for the idea of having the Rockwoods come as their guests to Pymatuning Valley Resort (my finally starting to understand something about the way a membership campground works). Hope to see everybody again next time.
